Haven't bothered checking my emails, kinda find hand written more personal. But this post is 2 remember good times with fun people. Also 2 let my sis from another miss, know I will never look at her any different no matter the distance. G 22 had 2 pick up my sis since Thompson Elementary school, Miss Chanelle Valero. So say hi 2 my Ce Ce, and as she called me her Ace. LOL We are going back into time, when she had a some what of a good mind. LOL Chanelle u'll always be my wind beneath my wings. LOL LOL U member... Sure was cold, feels like back home. As we got 2 the Board Walk and checked in. Of course the air lines misplaced our luggage, ain't that a likely story. So we figured we'd save some energy and turn in. Woke up the next morning to see the strip covered in snow. WTF never snows in sin city. Radio said it was the 1st time in 30 years, damn it was in the 100's a week ago. Plus neither 1 of us brought heavy type jackets. As we packed up getting ready 2 check in at the MGM. Everything was covered in white, what a sight. We checked in, put our luggage away, then went on the strip 2 play.
It was so cold we needed 2 buy jackets, LOL man we from Denver that was plain crazy. So we found a Foot Locker in Circus Circus, Chanelle being Chanelle started yapping 2 the sales clerk. Not only did she get us a discount but somehow a new follower. He met up with us later, see I didn't drink but she loves her liquor. We explored the strip, went on galaxy trips and high moving rides.
He ended up coming back 2 the room that night. Next day was BBMA, we got ready looking fly as can be. I always let her do my make-up, she had a talent 4 it. Any how we got downstairs, people everywhere. As we found our assigned seats, Chanelle decided she didn't like em, so she wondered and found us different 1's instead.
Sure enuff we was on the side of the stage. All a sudden, a bunch of dudes came down in leather jackets. It read something in white on the back, but we weren't infatuated. Plus we didn't listen 2 rap. Man looking back at the pictures, we was sitting behind innovators. Jay-Z, M. Bleek and Dash, couple other people but hell how do u explain that 2 yourself???? Anyhow it was an incredible show, lots of real talent, something sum award shows lack these days. After the show, we walked down 2 the floor. On the side Mr. Magic Johnson, as we walked up told Chanelle, mom's been dying 2 meet him!!! So as we were asking him for an autograph, some guy walks to the security 2 our side and tells her 2 ask us 2 leave...... Damn u Jay Z, another missed opportunity!!!! Told u I didn't know who this fool was, but damn he was beginning 2 bug. Chanelle and I was like WTF as we walked away. Only thing we could think of was, cos he wasn't the 1 we wanted an autograph from. Damn groupies ruin it for everybody!!!!! As we got 2 the stairs ran into sum guys, who were 6ft tall. LOL Got the autograph and continued on our path. As we got 2 the lobby, all performers were there. That's when we seen this happening. Now Mr. Cee Lo this is why you lost all RESPECT from me. Cee Lo was sr8 yelling at some female, sr8 making a scene. Literally belittling her telling her she was a bitch and hoe, just loud going off. Yea see I have a memory, and that really cost you. So F.U. that she's with another dude, you as a person still got stuff 2 prove!!!!!!!!! Anyhow as we was standing in the lobby, big perm, big worm said hi as he was walking with somebody. The group Next, B. McKnight, and every1 else was being real nice n polite. As we walked towards Studio 54, I seen Mack 10 and for my step pops had 2 go say hi. His cousin Derrick was standing right there, asked if I wanted a graph n wanted 2 kick it. So I got a pic plus graph of him n his crew. Then Derrick took me 2 Wolf Gang Puck 4 sum pizza. Chanelle was off with sum dude gambling, member free drinks but she was only 19. As she finally caught up with me, she was with dude from Foot Locker... smh man oh man this women. It was getting late and we had a flight 2 catch the next day, so Derrick offered 2 walk us 2 the elevator. As we got there Goodie Mob was standing there, Derrick took a picture and thats where we said bye.
LOL Okay so since then Mr. Carter has done plenty in making that day up. 4 those that don't know, I was blessed to get a scholarship from his foundation 2 help with school. Plus what can I say, I became addicted to the R O C when he changed his views on woman. Plus B is like a sis 2 me, can't share the same bday and not like a person. Come on ur crazy, 2 not give both them credit. Look at all they introduced 2 us, plus what they did for hip hop. Loyalty for them, runs soul deep. As far as Cee Lo, while it's not cos of money ur honey probably left you!!!! She probably got tired of how u treated her, and found some1 who upgr8's her. I'm not sure you know how to treat a lady, so it's no wonder why you cry. Let this be a lesson, even when u think the po po's r not watching.... Trust me, were always there.
